2015 Gawad Parangal sa Nutrisyon

The National Nutrition Council-National Capital Region (NNC-NCR), during the 2015 Gawad Parangal sa Nutrisyon held last August 20, has awarded for the second time the Green Banner award to Taguig for recording only 0.88 percent malnutrition incidence for 2014 compared to 1.38 last 2013.

The Green Banner award is the highest honor conferred to a local government unit for its exemplary implementation and management of nutrition programs.

In attendance were NDAP Vice President Milagros Elisa Federizo, Camarines Sur 3rd District Representative Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo, DOH NCRO Director III Ma. Vilma Diez, Taguig City Councilor Rodil “Tikboy” Marcelino, together with City Department Heads.
