DTI, 2015 Diskwento Caravan
The local government of Taguig and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) joined together to hold the 2015 Diskwento Caravan at the Taguig City hall grounds last December 4.
The DTI has been conducting Diskwento Caravans (Discount Caravans) for many years to sell goods to consumers at discounted and very low prices and at the same time give livelihood programs to local residents.
This is a public service conducted by DTI in partnership with big manufacturers and distributors. It is also an act of public service by the manufacturers and distributors as most of them are not looking into profits but to bring down the prices for the benefit of consumers at the Diskwento Caravan.
Leading the event were Vice Mayor Ricardo “Ading’ Cruz Jr., officials from DTI and Taguig PESO Manager Norman Mirabel.
