Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA)-Barangay Power 2014

Representatives of the different barangay finalists for the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA)-Barangay Power 2014 gathered at the MMDA Main Office, Makati City last November 5.

The contest aims to inspire and motivate all communities in the country to maintain and sustain the cleanliness and to develop the habit of clean living among the community members.

The Barangays of Fort Bonifacio, Upper Bicutan, Ususan, and New Lower Bicutan were among the 48 finalists in the said competition.

Present was Fort Bonifacio barangay chairman Alan Oliman, as well as MMDA General Manager Undersecretary Corazon T. Jimenez, Metro Manila Mayors’ Spouses Foundation Inc. president Dr. Mary Joyce F. Medina, National Solid Waste Management Commission- Department of Environment and Natural Resources- Environmental Management Bureau (NSWMC-DENR-EMB) Information Officer Dr. Patricia Licup.
