Bringing the best of Britain to Manila
The British Embassy once again brought back to Manila the best of Britain with the exciting Great British Festival, held last February 27 to March 1 at the Bonifacio High Street in Bonifacio Global City.
Now on its second year, the festival presented a bigger, better showcase of the unique mix of creativity, innovation, culture, heritage and knowledge that spell Britain’s success in fashion, music, sports, education and design.
Leading the official ribbon cutting were United Kingdom Ambassador Asif Ahmad, Fil-Brits Phil and James Younghusband of the famous Philippine Azkals football team, Taguig City Economic Investment Promotion Officer Jorge Bocobo representing the City Government of Taguig, and officials of the Embassy of the United Kingdom.
