Taguig rolls out most comprehensive, inclusive and responsive scholarship program
Taguig City rolled out the most comprehensive, inclusive and responsive scholarship program in the Philippines, further showcasing its strong commitment to education.
During a special session on Friday, Feb. 28, 2020, the Sangguniang Panlungsod passed Ordinance No. 6, Series of 2020 which will continue Taguig’s existing programs, currently covering 55,000 scholars in tertiary and about 10,000 in high school, and create new scholarship packages covering athletes, students in a select number of fields, and public servants and their families or dependents.
