ON THE FIRE THAT HIT THE TAGUIG PNP DETENTION CENTER


 

A fire struck the Taguig PNP Detention Center at the PNP Central Police Station on Friday afternoon, March 4, 2022. The station is near the Taguig City Hall but is separate from the main building where the city’s departments are located.
All the inmates housed in the PNP Detention Center have been accounted for. The Taguig Rescue, Bureau of Fire Protection, and Community Fire Brigade personnel immediately responded to the incident. The fire started at 12:10 PM and was declared out at 12:35 PM.
The Taguig City government assures residents that there is no cause for alarm and that all city’s departments will continue to operate normally.
A report from the Bureau of Fire Protection and the PNP will follow and details on the fire will be announced thereafter.
