Alternative Learning System 2015 Graduation
A number of 571 Taguig youth received their diplomas during the Alternative Learning System 2015 Graduation at the Taguig City University Auditorium last June 03.
The Alternative Learning System (ALS) is a ladderized, modular non-formal education program in the Philippines for dropouts in elementary and secondary schools, out-of-school youths, non-readers, working Filipinos and even senior citizens.
The graduates were now qualified to proceed to the secondary and tertiary level.
The city government continues to support the program knowing the importance of education to city development and progress.
Present in the event were Vice Mayor Ricardo “Ading” Cruz Jr., City Councilors Carlito Ogalinola and Rodil “Tikboy” Marcelino, Barangay Officials, DepEd TAPAT Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Danilo Gutierrez, DepEd TAPAT Officials,DepEd TAPAT ALS Education Program Supervisor Daisy Mataac together with Taguig ALS Instructors.
