December 8, 2013, Sunday, Taguig cityhood anniversary not a special non-working day as per the Office of The President. In a letter dated November 29, 2013 signed by Michael G. Aguinaldo, Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal affairs, Office of the President, Malacañang stated that:

“We note that the day falls on a Sunday, which is already a non-working day. Hence, there is no need for a proclamation at least for this year.”
