Free viewing of Pacquiao-Bradley rematch in Taguig

Pay-per-view? Not for Taguigenos.

As a show of support for national pride Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, the local government of Taguig has designated several areas all over the city where the much-awaited Pacquiao-Bradley rematch on April 13 will be shown live and for free.

“The whole nation is at a standstill every time Pacquiao fights. Every Pinoy is behind him. And as Taguigenos, we share that common pride. On April 13, Taguig will be behind Pacquiao,” Mayor Lani Cayetano said.

Pacquiao and Bradley’s first boxing fight in June 2012 ended in a controversial split decision in favor of the latter, which prodded even the World Boxing Organization (WBO) to step in and eventually announced that Pacquiao won that fight.

“Win or lose, Pacquiao will always bring us honor. We wish him the best in his rematch with Bradley,” Mayor Lani stressed.

The much-awaited rematch will be shown in the following places:

· Cayetano Sports Complex, Bagumbayan

· Tipas Elementary School, Palingon-Tipas

· Taguig City University Auditorium

· Enlisted Men’s Signal Village Elementary School

· Bagong Lipunan Condominum (BLC) Covered Court, Western Bicutan

Admission is free and is open to everyone. ###
