Inauguration of Procter & Gamble (P&G) Philippines Office
Procter & Gamble (P&G) Philippines officially inaugurated its new office at the Net Park Building, 5th Avenue, Crescent Park West, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City last October 9.
Marking its 80th year in the country, P&G opens its new home at the BGC to house its Manila general office and Manila service center.
The Manila general office is home to approximately 200 employees working in the Philippines under the selling and marketing organization. The general office has been a key part of the Filipino household since 1935 and has been one of the strongest P&G subsidiaries in Asia and in the world.
The P&G’s Manila service center is one of its three global business service centers in the world. Established in October 1999, MSC provides services and solutions in finance, information technology, human resources, and purchasing to P&G operations in Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and North America.
Over the years, Taguig has put in place a business friendly environment making it the top destination of choice among the multinational companies and top corporations.
The city prides itself with the implementation of ease of doing business policies such as low tax rates, campaign against red tape, one-stop shop business registration, and no number coding, which are most of the reasons why many companies have transferred to Taguig.
Leading the ribbon cutting and office blessing ceremonies were Mayor Lani Cayetano, together with officials and directors from P&G.
