Launching of GAD Sensitive Lay-Rescuers Training for Taguig City’s Homeowner’s Association

Homeowner Associations from the different barangays of Taguig participated in the launching of the GAD Sensitive Lay- Rescuers Training held last November 05 at the Cayetano Sports Complex.

The program was organized to determine the role of women during disaster rescue and relief.

The direct participation of women during disasters could maximize the efficiency of responding rescue teams.

During the event, members of the Taguig Rescue team conducted a Rescue Demo to brief the participants on the proper disaster response during calamities.

Present in the event were Vice Mayor Ricardo “Ading” Cruz Jr., City Councilors Mher Supan, Rodil Marcelino, Noel Dizon, ABC President Yasser Pangandaman and Taguig City DRRMO-OIC Mr. Ronald Galicia.
