Medical and Dental Mission at Villa-villa, Barangay New Lower Bicutan

A City Medical and Dental Mission was conducted last November 7 at Villa-villa, Barangay New Lower Bicutan.

Taguigueños were given free health checkups and laboratory examinations such as complete blood count, urinalysis, and blood typing. Free medicines, reflex massage, and haircut were also provided to residents.

One of the beneficiaries, 39-year-old Jun Namit thanked the local government saying “malaking tulong para sa mga tao ito (medical and dental mission) kasi hindi na namin kailangang lumayo.”

Josephine Relano, likewise said that the with the dental and medical mission they do not have to spend money because the medicines and services are already provided for free.

The mission is one of the key programs of the local government in bringing free medical services closer to the community. An average of 12 to 15 medical missions each month is conducted every year.
