Pacquiao vs. Mosley to be shown live, free in Taguig
The City Government of Taguig will again bring to local residents live and free of charge, the next bout of Saranggani Congressman Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao as he defends his World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title against former three-division champion “Sugar” Shane Mosley this coming Sunday.
Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano said that the fight involving the eight-division champion and Philippine’ pride Pacquiao will be shown at 14 different venues in Taguig: six in District I and another eight in District II.
“This live and free showing of Pacquiao’s title fight against Mosley, was organized for the enjoyment of all Taguigeños who want to see the one and only Pacman in action,” Mayor Cayetano said.
Tickets which will serve as passes will be given away on a first-come-first-served basis.
Mayor Cayetano advised local boxing fans to go to the designated venues early come fight day on May 8 so they may be able to secure seats and watch the live event comfortably.
The free showing venues in District I include Cayetano covered court, Tipas Elementary School, Taguig Elementary School, Taguig City University (TCU) Auditorium, Hagonoy Elementary School and R.P. Cruz Elementary School.
Over in District II, Signal Village Elementary School, BLC court, Pinagsama covered court, Sitio Una covered court, NDH Covered Court; Tanyag covered court, Bandar covered court and Macapagal High School will serve as showing sites.
Pacquiao is widely considered as the number one “pound-for-pound” boxer on the planet and has been recently dubbed the “Fighter of the Decade.”

Mapapanood nang libre ng mga Taguigueno ang bakbakang “Pambansang Kamao” Saranggani Congressman Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao at Sugar Shane Mosley sa Mayo 8, araw ng Linggo.
Ayon kay Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano, labing apat na venue ang mapapanooran ng libre ang pagdepensa ni Pacquiao sa kaniyang World Boxing Organization(WBO)Welterweight crown laban sa mapanganib na 3-division champion.
Mapapanood ang title bout sa anim na venue sa district 1 at walong venue naman sa district 2.
“Inorganisa ang libreng palabas upang mabigyan ng kasiyahan ang mga Taguigueno na humahanga sa husay ng pound for pound King at Fighter of the Decade na si Manny Pacquiao,” wika ni Mayor Cayetano.
Ang mga ticket ay ipamimigay sa pamamagitan ng first come – first serve basis sa bawat barangay hall.
Kaugnay nito ay pinayuhan ni Mayor Cayetano ang mga makakukuha ng ticket na sumadya nang maaga sa mga venue para makakuha ng magandang puwesto sa live showing ng bakbakang Pacquiao-Mosley.
Sa district 1 maaaring mapanood ang labanan sa sumusunod na mga venue: Cayetano covered court, Tipas Elementary School, Taguig Elementary School, Taguig City University(TCU)Auditorium, Hagonoy Elementary School at R.P. Cruz Elementary School.
