SRCCMSTHS & TSHS Entrance Examination

Senator Renato “Compañero” Cayetano Memorial Science and Technology High School and the Taguig Science High School, the two premier secondary schools of Taguig City, will conduct their Entrance Examinations for SY 2015-2016 for incoming Grade 7 Science Scholars on December 13, 8:00 am – 12:30nn in their respective campuses.

All elementary pupils of any Department of Education-recognized public and private schools who meet the following requirements shall be admitted to the program:

a) Elementary pupils of any public and private schools that are duly recognized by the Department of Education, residents of Taguig City and must have grades of at least 85% in Science, English, Mathematics and at least 83% in all other subjects in the first and second grading periods in the current school year 2014-2015. Grades obtained in the succeeding grading periods (3rd and 4th) lower than the grade requirements will be a ground for disqualification.

b) Elementary pupils who belong to the top ten (10) of the graduating class for schools with one hundred (100) or less pupils and ten percent (10%) of the graduating class for schools with more than one hundred graduating pupils. These pupils should present a certification from the Principal that they belong to this group.

c) Passed the critical thinking test, aptitude test and interview.

Filling up application starts on October 20, 2014 up to December 8, 2014. Application forms may be obtained from the said schools upon presentation of the following:

a) Certified true copy of Report Card (Form 138) with complete grades for the first to the second quarter of the current school year duly signed by the Principal.

b) Certification from the elementary principal that the applicant belongs to the top ten and or upper ten percent of the graduating class, SY 2014-2015

c) Certificate of Good Moral Character from the School Principal

d) Proof of billing or Barangay Certificate

e) Two (2) 2×2 colored ID pictures taken in the last six months

f) Photocopy of Registered Birth Certificate (NSO)
