Taguig launches Online Payment Portal via TRACE; paying taxes of Taguigeños now more accessible
As part of Taguig’s campaign in transitioning to the new normal, the City opens Taguig Online Payment Portal (TOPP) for Taguigeño stakeholders to pay Real Property Tax (RPT) and Business Tax faster, safer, and more convenient.
TOPP aims for a hassle-free process of making payments for taxes to all Taguigeños. It can be accessed through Taguig TRACE (trace.taguig.gov.ph). It requires a valid cellphone number and an Internet connection to access the portal. The public can use WiFi ng Bayan Kiosks available at 107 sites all throughout the City for easy access and internet connection.
TOPP could be used to pay Real Property Tax for taxpayers who have an updated RPT payment and remaining Business Tax obligation, provided that the business owner has paid the Quarter Business Tax obligation.
“We want to provide you the most convenient and safest ways in this new normal. With our newest TOP Portal, paying taxes would be very easy and secure. You can settle your taxes with the tip of your fingers, so I encourage every taxpayer that once the TOP Portal is available, use it. It’s for you,” Mayor Lino said.
Payment options for TOPP are Credit or Debit card (Visa/Mastercard), Gcash, and Paymaya. Taxpayers can claim their official receipt after five (5) working days by booking an appointment first through TOPP.
Taguigeño taxpayers can claim their official receipt at the TOP Portal office located at the ground floor of Taguig City Hall five (5) working days after your online payment. Those claiming their receipts must also secure an appointment through the TOP Portal.
Mayor Lino encourages all Taguigeño stakeholders to settle their taxes on time to avoid any inconvenience and delays. Taguigeños can expect that these taxes will be used for the improvement of public services and the needs of every resident.
Taguig vows to further expand its online payment options to secure everyone’s safety against COVID-19 in this new normal.
