Taguig Vaccination Rollout Plan

Per Taguig City Vaccination Task Force Board Resolution No. 1_

The Taguig City government has released its list of priority groups for its COVID-19 vaccination drive that is in full effect with the city’s health workers now receiving their second doses.

This was after Mayor Lino Cayetano signed Executive Order No. 10 that adopts the recommendation of the Taguig City Vaccination Task Force for the city’s vaccine rollout stipulated in Board Resolution No. 01 Series of 2021 signed on March 25.

Mayor Lino gave the assurance the approved priority list will be followed strictly in Taguig, noting that COVID-19 vaccination was key to ending the pandemic.

The City of Taguig commits to have vaccines available for its 1 million citizens. The city has been receiving its allocation of vaccines from the national government but it is also preparing a vaccine portfolio that would complement the same and ensure each Taguigeño receives free inoculation.

The city is also expecting to receive supplies of Novavax, IP Biotech, AstraZeneca, and Moderna.

Taguig still has the least active COVID-19 cases per 100,000 in Metro Manila at 13 as of March 29. This is way below the 182 active COVID-19 cases per 100,000 reported by Metro Manila for the same period.
