Turn-over Ceremony 4-storey/6 classroom Building at Gen. Ricardo Papa, Sr. Memorial High School Annex


Mayor Lani Cayetano led the Turn-over Ceremony of the new four-storey building that has six- classrooms on May 28 at the Gen. Ricardo Papa, Sr. Memorial High School Annex, Barangay Ususan.

The new school building has air-conditioned rooms, sufficient lighting, ventilated study areas making it conducive for teaching and learning.

The city government has been investing heavily in the education sector, providing programs which helped the Department of Education Taguig and Pateros (DepEd TAPAT)

The city government under Mayor Lani Cayetano has been investing largely to improve the education system in the city, Taguig City currently provides free education from pre-school to the tertiary level.

Last year, Taguig topped the National Achievement Test (NAT) in DepEd NCR’s cluster 1 (big school division) which paved the way for its hosting of the recently concluded National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) as the education department recognized the city’s effort in reforming the education sector.

Also present during the turn-over ceremony were Mayor Ricardo “Ading’ Cruz Jr., members of the Sangguniang Panglungsod, officials from the DepEd TAPAT.
