Unveiling of the marker for the “Ang Puno ng Akasya sa Dambana ni Sta.Ana”

A Symbol of Faith and Resiliency

Mayor Lani Cayetano led the unveiling of the marker for the “Ang Puno ng Akasya sa Dambana ni Sta.Ana” during the Pistang Bayan celebration held last February 15 at Barangay Sta. Ana, Taguig City.

The Centennial Acacia Tree has been a witness to the faith, hope and love of the parishioners of St. Anne.

The crowd were entertained by dancing Higantes and marching bands who rendered festive songs.

Aside from Mayor Lani, present during the event were Vice Mayor Ricardo “Ading” Cruz Jr., Bishop Mylo Vergara of the Diocese of Pasig,Father Mandy Litana of Sta. Ana Shrine, and Members of the City Council together with Officials from Barangay Sta. Ana.
